Yulong Huang
I have a M.Sc degree in Cognitive Psychology (2021, South China Normal University). I am now a Ph.D. student at Ghent University under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Lara Bardi (https://bardilab.com).
In my master’s program, I focused on understanding how our brain processes and learns social dominance information, and how this influences decision-making, combining behavioral experiments, digit-tracking, EEG, and Intranasal oxytocin approaches. In my Ph.D. program, using fMRI, Eye-tracking, and TMS approaches, I am focusing on understanding how environmental cues influence our decision-making in both social and non-social contexts. I am deeply interested in research that investigates how social contexts influence behavior and the underlying mechanisms behind it, which led me to be part of the EXPLORA group. In addition to my research interests, I also have a background in journalism and documentary filmmaking, which I am enthusiastic about integrating into my research projects.
