Short Bio

Elisabeth Janssens obtained a Masters degree in Notarial Law (2017, magna cum laude) after her Masters degree in Law (2016, magna cum laude) at Ghent University.

On September 1, 2017, she started practicing as a lawyer at Cazimir Advocaten and as from October 1, 2020 she is also affiliated as a teaching assistant at the Tax Law Institute within the department of Interdisciplinary Study of Law, Private Law and Business Law at the UGent Faculty of Law & Criminology focusing on estate planning.

Elisabeth mainly focuses on family property law, estate planning and property law procedures (such as, in particular, the settlement of matrimonial property regimes and estates). As a teaching assistant she contributes educating practical and professional skills to the students from her practical experiences.

Besides her legal practice and teaching, Elisabeth also enjoys publishing. Writing legal articles she considers an interesting and diversified way for further specialization with regard to family property law and estate planning.
