Short Bio

Joaquim is a voluntary employee at the Tax law Institute within the department of Interdisciplinary Study of Law, Private Law and Business Law at the UGent Faculty of Law & Criminology. He particularly focuses on VAT and registration duties.

He is a lawyer since 2006, currently active at Deloitte Legal - Lawyers. In this capacity he is regularly involved in real estate transactions, DBFM(O) contracts, tax advice to financial institutions as well as representing clients in disputes with the FPS Finance.

Joaquim obtained his law degree at Ghent University in 2005 and graduated a year later, at the same university, as a Master in Taxation.
