Lars Vanneste

Lars Vanneste is a PhD researcher and teaching assistant at the Tax Law Institute within the department of Interdisciplinary Study of Law, Private Law and Business Law at the UGent Faculty of Law & Criminology. His Phd research is entitled : The role of the financial intermediaries in the collection of income tax through withholding tax.  

As a senior Tax Advisor Lars Vanneste has more than 10 years of international experience in investment and international corporate taxes. In this capacity, he has already been substantially involved in the preparation and the integration of different tax legislations in the Belgian finance practice and the related discussions with the Belgian Government.

Lars obtained a Masters Degree in Law (2007) and a Masters Degree in Tax Law (2008) at Ghent University and a Masters Degree in Management (2011) at KU Leuven.
