Short Bio
Mark Delanote has a degree in law (KULeuven 2001) and obtained additional certificates in tax law (University of Brussels, 2002), company law (KULeuven, 2002) and social law (University of Brussels, 2006). In 2010 he obtained his Phd in law with his dissertation on tax collection law.
Mark is associate professor at the Tax Law Institute within the department Interdisciplinary Study of Law, Private Law and Business Law at the UGent Faculty of Law & Criminology. His education focuses on tax procedures and registration and inheritance taxes.
He participated within several parliamentary committees (Panama and Kazakhgate). He is a member of the High Council of Finance as from November 2017.
