The Ghent University Agrotopia endowed chair presents an inspiring framework to stimulate and realize innovative concepts in greenhouse technology and vertical and urban horticulture.
The endowed chair delivers a multidisciplinary platform which brings together expertise in:

- microbial ecology and technology

- Funding for specialized lighting for plants

Inagro’s rooftop greenhouse, Agrotopia, a living lab at the site of the Agricultural Auction Market REO in Roeselare serves as a unique platform to the UGent-Agrotopia endowed chair for research, demonstration and communication.
