UGent @ Work writing retreat

What?

Participants take part in a four-day writing retreat in which they focus on the following.

(i) Working independently on a well- and pre-defined (writing) assignment, such as a specific chapter of their PhD thesis, a specific section of a research article, a research communication aimed at a broad audience, … .

(ii) Attending three seminars to improve their writing and research skills. Additionally, participants receive feedback on their writing assignment by experts throughout the writing retreat.

(iii) Interacting with researchers from different scientific backgrounds who all conduct research related to work and the labour market to improve their networking skills and enlarge their (interdisciplinary) scientific network.
