Student Council Sciences (StuW)

StuW, the Student Council of the Faculty of Sciences, represents students at both faculty and university levels through the Ghent Student Council. StuW organizes the faculty job fair, relaxation lounge, and student garden.

Campus Sterre

Chemica is the faculty association for students of Chemistry and Biochemistry & Biotechnology. They enliven student life by organizing parties, sports activities, and providing course and lab materials.

Gentse Biologische Kring (GBK)

The Ghent Biological Circle (GBK) is the faculty association for Biology students. They organize activities such as an introductory weekend, excursions, parties, and song nights, and they also offer a course service.

Geografica is the faculty association for Geography and Geomatics students. They distribute courses, organize festive, cultural, and sports activities, and serve as the primary contact for any geographer or surveyor in Ghent.

Geologica is the faculty association for Geology students. They organize parties, sports activities, and cultural events, and offer a book and excursion kit sale. Additionally, they provide study support through their wiki and a mentoring program.

PRIME is a student association that brings together individuals interested in mathematics. They organize problem-solving evenings, brain teaser publications, the COMA and PUMA competitions, lectures, workshops, game nights, and the annual PRIME Quiz.

The Association for Physics (VVN) is a student association for anyone interested in physics. They organize lectures, experiments, and stargazing nights, focusing on popularizing science beyond the boundaries of the faculty.
