Loan and reservation

Loan

• You can lend a maximum of 10 items from each UGhent library
• UGhent: your student- or staff card can be used as your library pass
• Externals: to loan items you need to purchase a visitor's card
• The loan period is 4 weeks. You can extend the loan period 3 times, unless somone else has reserved the item in the meantime

• by logging in to lib.ugent.be (choose 'My loans' and click 'Renew')

Reservations

The library cataloque shows whether a work is on loan and until what data. Below the location number of a borrowed item is a blue button that allows you to reserve the item. The current loaner then receives an email asking him to return the item as soon as possible. As soon as the item is available, you will be notified by email.
