By using more sustainable, renewable and biodegradable materials we can create better and safer chemical products with less waste and design more efficient and sustainable processes to synthesize them.
How?
Only by building a global collaboration & knowledge sharing model can we achieve those goals. GREEN-CHEM aims:
- to create new know-how by enhancing research collaboration between leading international experts from academia and industry,
- to improve knowledge sharing by training students and industry professionals in the principles of green chemistry and the circular economy,
- to enhance general awareness and public interest for important green chemistry issues as a service we owe to society.
